Patchwork of Love ~ TGIFF Party

I am happy to be here as hostess for this week's TGIFF party.
The quilt I am sharing today is a bit bitter-sweet... I always love the joyous opportunity to choose a pattern for a quilt to celebrate a marriage. Our niece announced her engagement on March 6th... she and her boyfriend of almost 6 years were wed just 10 days later.

A new page has been turned as we start the month of May. The weather has turned from cooler temps and chances of snow to warmer days, spring-like winds and chances of rain. Spring is my favorite season, followed closely with Autumn. The days of warm sunshine, comfortable temperatures so that you can have windows open and enjoy the varied sights, sounds and scents of the season.

Mundane Monday...

The mundane tasks of wrapping up a year and preparing for year-end reports and taxes took over but I have cleared the desk, paid and filed necessary reports, placed orders and I am ready to return to the studio bright and early on Tuesday morning!
While the "business" side of getting to do what we love to do can be mundane, it is necessary and I feel fortunate that I have the skills, confidence, knowledge and ability to handle the majority of the things that are required for our small business. Tax forms will be on their way very soon ...
